Project at a Glance

Our Sewing Machine Donation Project, Sui Dhaaga, is a significant initiative for women's economic empowerment. By providing sewing machines and basic tailoring training to women from low-income families, we are not just offering tools but also a pathway to financial independence. These women can start small businesses, earn income, and contribute to their families'  financial stability. Importantly, this project enhances the social status of women in their communities, fostering respect and equality.

Founder's Notes

Project Sui Dhaga is a heartfelt tribute to the women who are the creative backbone of our family. Inspired by my Dadi, Nani, and Masi (maternal aunt), this project will showcase their endless creativity and deep love for our cultural heritage. They have taught me the values of compassion, sustainability, and community service.
